What does Podra connect to?
Podra works with your files and the podcast directories through standard formats rather than accounts it controls. You upload audio or video, download the package, and submit your show's RSS feed to Apple Podcasts, Spotify and others yourself. It doesn't post to any platform for you, and doesn't need access to your accounts.
RSS feed (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, Amazon, Podcast Index)
Works todayPodra hosts an RSS feed per show with iTunes and Podcasting 2.0 tags; you submit its address to each directory yourself, once.
Podcasting 2.0 chapters and transcripts
Works todayPublished episodes carry podcast:chapters (JSON) and podcast:transcript (WebVTT with speaker tags) for apps that read them.
Audio and video files in
Works todayUpload MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, FLAC, OGG, Opus, MP4, MOV or WebM, up to 4 GB, or 2 to 4 tracks (one per speaker).
Files out (any editor or host)
Works todayDownload MP3 with ID3 chapters, WAV, SRT, VTT, TXT, Markdown, HTML, JSON chapters, clip MP4s, or one ZIP, and use them anywhere.
OpenAI speech-to-text
Works todayTranscribes each episode with word timestamps, and tells speakers apart in a single-file recording.
Anthropic Claude
Works todayDrafts chapters, clips, show notes, titles and a description from the transcript; without it, simple rules draft them and say so.
Not available: direct uploading to YouTube, Spotify or social networks, and imports from Riverside, Zencastr or Zoom accounts. Download your recording from those and upload the file.
