Clips and show notes for video podcasts
Upload your video podcast (MP4 or MOV) and Podra masters the sound, transcribes it, and turns the clips you accept into captioned vertical 9:16 videos cut from the picture, with the fillers you removed taken out of the clip too. Show notes include YouTube-style timestamps, and the audio episode goes to your RSS feed.
Clips from the picture
- 3 to 5 suggested moments, each 20 to 60 seconds, starting and ending on whole words.
- Exported as MP4 with burned-in captions, plus the MP3 and SRT.
What it doesn't do
Podra isn't a video editor: no timeline, multicam switching or 4K export of the full episode. Keep your editor for the long-form video, and use Podra for the audio, the notes and the clips.
What you pay
Pro is $49 a month for 15 hours; files up to 3 hours long. Original uploads are deleted 14 days after processing, so render your clips within that time.
Questions
Can clips use my show artwork for audio-only episodes?
Yes. Without video, clips show your artwork with a waveform and the captions.
